- Traffic Management Signals
- Most of you are most likely familiar with this kind of signal as they are very often seen on roads, in loading bays, or anywhere that traffic management is required. Traffic signals/lights, or sometimes known as “Multihead Indicators”, are specifically made to manage traffic, for example; dockside signalling, shutter door status, etc. Traffic signals usually come in Red, Green, and Amber coloured lights, to indicate Stop, Caution, and Go.

If a company or facility mostly uses visual signals, their employees should be informed on what each signal means and what the appropriate reaction should be. This is to prevent panic which could cause more unnecessary incidents. Audible Warning Signals
The use of audible signals can sometimes be more effective as a warning, than using visual warning signals. Therefore, this kind of warning signal may be preferred in large crowded areas – depending on selected tone, as audios cannot be obscured by panicking, or large crowds of people.
