Telephone ring initiated beacons are designed for applications where a visual indication is required of a telephone ringing – for example in a factory where a high ambient noise level means it is difficult to hear a ringing telephone. They are also commonly used for industrial welfare applications including emergency evacuation alarms and along railway lines.

Our TPD Telephone Beacon is ultra-low current and is driven entirely from the incoming ring signal; It connects to a standard 2 wire analogue telephone line with a normal low frequency AC ringing supply. The beacon detects this ringing signal and switches on, lighting up in your chosen colour.
