We are now able to publicly announce that our team have been secretly working behind the scenes to develop this entirely new range of LED beacons featuring a xenon strobe style flash. Not content with just giving the illusion of a strobe beacon, they have gone above and beyond to give you a product that performs better than its equivalent 5 Joule, 11 Joule & 24 Joule xenon strobe model! Confident in our claim that these are the brightest industrial warning signals in their class, we can confirm effective luminous intensities of more than 460Cd for the Pulse mode and greater than 1000Cd for the strobe mode – all colour dependent of course!
The xenon strobe beacon is known world-wide for its short, sharp, intense flash that demands instant attention. Replicating this effect using LEDs was a tough ask but the team pushed on through to bring this to a reality. Of course, moving to LEDs also brings other benefits:
- Lower maintenance as LEDs are more robust than Xenon Tubes – saving you time and money.
- Lower power consumption than the equivalent Xenon Strobe model.
- Multiple functions from a single unit – Strobe, Flash, Pulse, Static, etc.
These long-lasting products are available in a range of housings to complement our existing product ranges. Similarly, we can supply a product to accommodate pretty much any supply voltage from 12V to 230V in both AC and DC.
